Intermediate Nosework Practice - Converging Odors

75.00

Each practice will focus on preparing the dogs for multiple hide searching, especially when the odors are converging (pooling in a similar area so that two hides are detectable from the same space). We will use Birch, Anise, and Clove. No hides higher than 3 feet.

One dog will be working at a time while the others wait politely in their cars. If it is too hot to leave dogs in cars, we will crate in the building and then practice outside.

You may receive homework or instruction as to what to practice outside of class. We will also spend a portion of class in lecture learning about scent theory, because the more you know, the better your practice at home will be!
